One Hundred and Eight Towers is located on a steep eastward slope, Mountain Xiakou, Qingtongxia City, near Yinchuan City.

It is a well-arranged and inerratic building group with 108 towers altogether. From top to bottom, they are arranged into a 12-line tower lineup in a shape of triangle by odd numbers.

This tower group is a cenotaph of Buddhism. According to Buddhism, man has 108 kinds of annoyances; in order to get rid of them, pious men and women must wear 108 stringed beads and chant scriptures for 108 times. Reputedly, worshiping the tower group will help people get rid of their worries and have a good luck.
